There are a variety of compensation plans in the network marketing world.Do a full investigation before signing on the dotted line. I’ve had experience in a couple but my new favorite, by far, is the Binary Compensation Plan. Here’s why:
Easy to Understand: I’m a pretty simple guy and I like a plan that is easily understood. A binary compensation plan is easy to describe to prospect business partners.You can either put new reps on your left or your right.How do you make it any simpler? Keep it super simple by telling new downline to place OUTSIDE left or OUTSIDE right only. Again, it all depends on the prevailing thoughts in your respective company.I think the simplicity of binary compensation overshadows any possible downside.
Tandem Teams: You only have two teams in a binary compensation plan. That means you can devote time as you see fit and drive growth in the shorter leg if needed (always consult your upline leadership regarding the property placement of new members). Heck, you get a rockstar on one leg that grows a downline of 100,000…you’ll only have to work your other leg!
Upline Success: You might be in the perfect spot to take full advantage of the growth of those above you. If you get in at the right time you can ride the coat tails of those above you. It all rides on where your upline is placing reps, but you could very well realize a large boon to your business because of their efforts.
Leg Bottoms: You can really focus on the very bottom of each leg to promote further growth.What’s the result?It can really pump up new team members and ignite a fire with those reps who’ve been around for a while.How does this motivate new reps? You and your team focus on helping the newest members by quick-starting their prospecting . Help them grow their business.
Synergy: Pretend you just sponsored Brian.Brian could be a rockstar-in-the-making, but hasn’t grasped his potential yet. Well, as you grow your business you’re naturally growing his. Why? At some point he should take a look at his business and realize, “Holy crap! There are 390 people on my left leg! I really like binary compensation plans!” He should get what he’s missing out on is he doesn’t work on his short leg.
