Let’s face it. When people accept or quit a job, they are actually accepting or quitting the boss. If people like you, are attracted to and believe in you, they will follow.  A home networking business depends on those who believe in you and want to do what you are doing. 

An enormous error that people commit is that they attempt to be someone they are not.  Instead of setting the goal to make as many connections as possible they push too hard with the goal of selling.  Your network increases by the amount of people you help.  Over time, and with patience, those people will join in your cause, even if you may not get a lot of response at the beginning.  Construct a solid foundation, a good reputation, and your network will increase drastically. 

The first thing to remember is to make people feel comfortable with you and not feel pressured.  Speak confidently,not arrogantly.  Don’t be overly bossy.  Furthermore encourage your audience to interact.  Always be sincere with your words.  If you truly believe in what you are saying, others will as well.

The interactive section may have both a Q&A area, but also a discussion board.  Debate and get people excited about what they are talking about and invite conversation.  They can be involved in coming up with solutions and feeling part of the business already.  This creates a higher level of interest and more conversations.  Pay attention and comprehend what is being said and let the audience lead the conversation. 

To make people laugh be sure to smile and throw in a few jokes.  Laughter makes people more comfortable and relaxed and more willing to listen.  Keep your body language friendly and welcoming.  Display belief in your eyes and a stress-free body manner to express an authentic message.

Making a public appearance for promotion purposes is a great idea, but only if you can get a positive response from your audience.  Take full advantage of it when you have this opportunity.  You can steer their thoughts and minds in the direction you want by giving them the information they need, unlike people visiting your website, packaged in a fun and well put together presentation.   These people will have a desire to work with you, if they like you.  They will have faith in you, and because of that they will trust the business and their potentional of success in it.  They will buy into YOU.
